This privacy statement applies to this website and the services of MJassets (hereinafter “MJassets” or “We”). In this statement we explain what our general privacy policy is, for what purposes we process your personal data and what rights you have with regard to your personal data.

Who is responsible?

MJAssets is responsible for processing your personal data.

How do we view privacy?

MJassets considers your privacy very important. This means that we use your data for the services. We do not sell your data to third parties. Do not share this information unless it is necessary to provide our service or if we are required to do so by law. Of course we also have a commercial interest, but we comply with the applicable privacy legislation.

What are personal data?

If you visit our website or want to use our services, we will process various data from you. This can be company data, but also personal data. Personal data is any information that can be traced back to a natural person.

Which data do we process about you?

We only collect data that you provide to us yourself or that we receive, whether or not after acceptance, via cookies.

You are not (legally) obliged to provide your personal data. If you want to use our services, we do need the requested information. We take care not to request more information from you than we need.

If you contact us, we will store your contact details. This concerns general contact details, such as your name, your telephone number and / or your email address. We use this information to contact you and further communicate with you.

Contract

If you use our services, we can collect more information from you. Which these are depends on the specific situation. We will always discuss this with you.

If you register for it, you can do so as a natural person or on behalf of a legal person. We ask you to provide at least the following information:

  • Sex
  • Street and house number
  • ZIP code and address
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • IBAN bank account

We also ask for a copy of your identity document and an extract from the Chamber of Commerce if you register on behalf of a legal person.

Newsletter

If you want to be kept informed of our services, you can sign up for our newsletter via our website. We ask for your email address. We work with a double opt-in. This means that you will receive a confirmation email at the specified email address. You will only be added to the mailing list after you have confirmed the registration.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can do this by unsubscribing via the link at the bottom of the e-mail.

Target group determination

MJassets analyzes its customer base. This with the aim to determine how it can best reach its target group. It is possible that certain personal data from you are used for this, such as your gender, zip code or e-mail address. This way she can determine what your profile is and which target group she can target. It is possible that MJAssets uses a third party for this, such as an online marketing agency. If this data is shared with third parties for this purpose, your data will be hashed so that third parties cannot access this data.

Cookies and advertising

We also use cookies. This way our website can function properly, we can analyze the click behavior of our visitors and also advertise specifically. We will then at least process your IP address, or part thereof, general visitor information such as country where you are located, data about your activity on our website, internet browser and device type; and possibly your surfing behavior. Do we also process special personal data?

We do not process special personal data, such as data relating to political opinions, religious beliefs or health. We do process sensitive information, namely financial data. We guarantee that a little extra.

What are the legal bases of MJassets?

We process your personal data if this is necessary for the preparation or execution of our agreement with you, if we have received permission for this (for example with the newsletter) and also if we have a legitimate interest in this (such as for further marketing purposes).

How long do we keep your data?

MJAssets does not store your personal data longer than is necessary to realize the goals for which your data is collected.

We keep general contact details for as long as necessary to keep in touch. Customer data is kept as long as you are a customer. After that, we only keep the data that we need to comply with our legal obligations (such as towards the Tax Authorities) for as long as this is necessary under that legal provision.

If you have unsubscribed from the newsletter, you will be immediately removed from the mailing list.

Do we share your data? And if so: is privacy guaranteed?

MJAssets only shares your personal data with parties that support it in the execution of the agreement with you, such as sister companies or other affiliated companies and software providers, or for direct marketing purposes (for example, determining the target group). We may have to share data with third parties if we are legally obliged to do so.

We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf, which complies with applicable privacy legislation. With this we ensure an appropriate level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Most parties are located in the European Union. We provide appropriate safeguards with parties located outside the EU. We will only enter into an agreement with these parties if the European Commission has decided that transfer is safe (such as with parties in America that are part of the Privacy Shield framework) or if similar measures have been taken to ensure that your data is processed securely there as well. .

How secure is your data?

The security of your data is very important to MJAssets. For that reason, it takes appropriate security measures. This way we prevent your data from being lost or getting into the wrong (= unauthorized) hands. Some of these measures can be found below:

  • Our website is secured with an SSL certificate. Confidential information, for example that is provided via a contact form, is encrypted
  • Our IT systems are updated and secured.
  • We use Firewall X 2 (Hosting and on location)
  • We have a strict access policy. Only authorized staff members / third parties have access to your personal data
  • We conclude agreements with third parties who process your personal data on our behalf

What rights do you have?

You have several rights regarding your privacy:

To ensure that a request / objection has been made by you, we kindly request you to send a copy of your ID with your email. Please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers on the ID proof), document number and citizen service number (BSN) in this copy to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible.
